Corvairs Northwest (CNW) is one of the biggest and most active Corvair Clubs on the west coast with many interesting Events & Get-Togethers for our members throughout the year.
These include our Spring Tune-up Day where a local member opens his garage with a lift to our members for tune-ups and minor repairs. In April or May one of the 7 Pacific Northwest Corvair clubs hosts a Northwest Corvair Econo-Run over a long weekend with a car show and banquet included. June is our CNW Picnic at some member’s home providing lots of Corvair chatter and tire kicking opportunities.
As the summer continues in July we host our own unique Orphaned and Discontinued Car Show at the beautiful showgrounds at Griot’s in Tacoma which features a huge vairiety of seldom seen vehicles from 1900 through 1989. In August we enjoy a get-together hosted by our compatriot club, North Cascades Corvairs.
In October we feature a Fall Corvair Rally/Cruise with awards given for the first and second place winners as we dine together afterwards at a local restaurant. November features our popular Fall Tune-up Day with a Potluck lunch at the home of one of our members. A trunk swap meet is also part of the day’s activities. Finally in December we have our Christmas Dinner Party for another day of feasting and fellowship.
